Nolan Realty is a family business. In the late 1800s, my great grandfather was a pioneer in real estate for the North Street section of Danbury. He owned several residential multi-family homes and offered these as rentals. My family was also the proprietor of the historic Vincent-Austin Carriage House located on Crosby Street in Danbury, which provided the main form of transportation for the area. We still own the property today.
In 1955, my parents officially launched Nolan Realty when my father obtained his Connecticut Real Estate Broker’s license. In 1976, the four Nolan siblings formed a partnership to continue the family tradition in the Danbury community. They began renovating historic structures, including commercial, residential, and mixed-use, to help revitalize neighborhoods. Expertly utilizing state and federal programs, they offered affordable housing to low- and moderate-income people and their families. I’m a lifelong resident of Danbury and lead the Nolan Realty team today.
